Logistics Coordinator at Culinary Stainless Fabricators – Trenton, New Jersey

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping, receiving, and delivery coordination for custom stainless steel fabrication projects. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate movement of materials and finished goods while coordinating between production teams, vendors, and freight carriers.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination

Schedule and coordinate outbound and inbound shipments (LTL, FTL, local freight)

Prepare and verify shipping documentation including bills of lading and packing lists

Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery

Carrier & Vendor Management

Communicate directly with freight carriers to arrange pickups and resolve delays

Monitor freight costs and assist in negotiating rates

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and transportation partners

Production & Inventory Support

Coordinate with production teams to align shipping schedules with project timelines

Track raw materials and finished goods movement

Assist with inventory accuracy and reporting

Issue Resolution

Troubleshoot delivery discrepancies, damages, or delays

Ensure claims are filed and documented when necessary

Provide real-time status updates to internal teams and customers

Qualifications

• 2+ years of logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination experience

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Familiarity with freight carriers and shipping documentation

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email communication

• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
