Member Services Representative at North Coast Credit Union – Bellingham, Washington

We’re hiring a Member Services Representative who can work as a member of an established team and believes great service can strengthen a community. This role is teller-focused, ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, creating welcoming experiences, and wants an opportunity to grow into broader financial service responsibilities.

At North Coast Credit Union, our Member Services Representatives are often the first face members see. From our Dupont (Bellingham) branch, you’ll help deliver trusted, human-centered service while supporting the credit union’s mission of improving financial well-being.

In this role, you will:

• Welcome members and provide accurate teller services, including cash handling and transaction processing
• Balance and safeguard your cash drawer with strong attention to detail
• Resolve account questions with empathy and professionalism
• Educate members on services that support their financial goals
• Open accounts and assist with lending as you grow in the role
• Maintain accurate records and protect member information

Pay Range (depending on level of experience):

• Member Service Representative 1 - $20.41 - $26.53
• Member Service Representative 2 - $22.04 - $28.65
• Member Service Representative 3 - $23.80 - $30.94

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cashing handling experience is highly recommended and will be a requirement for the level 2 and 3 roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
• Basic computer skills
• Previous customer service experience (preferred)
• The ability to obtain NMLS Registration and Notary license.

This position is full-time, approximately 40 hours per week. The schedule is generally Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. There is occasional need to attend trainings - and meetings between 7:45 am – 6pm to meet operational need.
