Position: Maintenance Technician, Full-Time
Facility: Providence Place

Providence Place is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the overall maintenance, safety, and functionality of our campus Located in High Point NC. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our residents enjoy a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, dependable, and committed to supporting the Mission, Values, and Vision of EveryAge.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining the property, plant, and equipment of the facility, ensuring that all building systems and grounds remain in excellent operational condition.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in safe, operable condition.
  • Perform maintenance tasks according to procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
  • Maintain storage and mechanical areas in a clean, orderly manner.
  • Assist with trash and debris removal as needed.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of buildings.
  • Move furniture as directed.
  • Assist Environmental Services with heavy‑duty cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain and repair lighting systems.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
  • Construct, repair, and maintain structures using hand and power tools.
  • Perform electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, and plumbing tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of property, plant, and equipment.
  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, weeding, etc.).
  • Participate in safety, fire protection, and security procedures related to Life Safety Codes.
  • Assist with maintaining and inspecting company motor vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum RequirementsEducation
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • One year of experience as a maintenance technician required.
Other Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet EveryAge auto insurance requirements

The Maintenance Tech should have 3-5 years’ experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical experience.
