Maintenance Technician at EveryAge – High Point, North Carolina

Position: Maintenance Technician, Full-Time

Providence Place is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the overall maintenance, safety, and functionality of our campus Located in High Point NC. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that our residents enjoy a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment. The Maintenance Technician assists in maintaining the property, plant, and equipment of the facility, ensuring that all building systems and grounds remain in excellent operational condition.

• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in safe, operable condition.
• Perform maintenance tasks according to procedures and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Maintain storage and mechanical areas in a clean, orderly manner.
• Assist with trash and debris removal as needed.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of buildings.
• Move furniture as directed.
• Assist Environmental Services with heavy‑duty cleaning tasks.
• Maintain and repair lighting systems.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies.
• Construct, repair, and maintain structures using hand and power tools.
• Perform electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, plaster, and plumbing tasks as assigned.
• Conduct periodic inspections of property, plant, and equipment.
• Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance (mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, weeding, etc.).
• Participate in safety, fire protection, and security procedures related to Life Safety Codes.
• Assist with maintaining and inspecting company motor vehicles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• One year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• One year of experience as a maintenance technician required.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet EveryAge auto insurance requirements

The Maintenance Tech should have 3-5 years’ experience in HVAC, plumbing and electrical experience.
