Essential FunctionsAdhere to WMC’s quality management system.Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure standard quality specifications and requirements are met. Read work orders to determine production specifications or information. Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times. Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing. Operate or tend machines to mix or blend plastic and other components.Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands to ensure standard quality specifications and requirements.Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using a forklift or manual methods. Record operational or production data on specified forms. Unload mixtures into gaylord containers for further processing. Understand and follow all WMC Health & Safety Practices. Report all injuries and unsafe work conditions. Attend mandatory safety training and request additional training as needed. All other duties as assigned.Position RequirementsHS Diploma or GED is requiredPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredPrevious experience safely operating a forklift is preferredDue to growth, we are hiring for all shifts in our Blending department.
First Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Second Shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Third Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
