Principal AI Solutions Architect

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal AI Solutions Architect in United States.

This role is a senior, client-facing technical leadership position focused on designing and delivering AI-powered solutions that transform complex operational workflows into scalable, production-ready systems. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, AI solution design, and enterprise architecture, working directly with clients to translate needs into actionable technical specifications. The position requires a strong ability to bridge conceptual ideas and real-world implementation, ensuring alignment between innovation, feasibility, and business value. You will also play a key role in prototyping AI-driven solutions using modern ML tools, LLMs, and automation platforms. Working closely with engineering and leadership teams, you will define solution requirements, success metrics, and technical constraints. This is a high-autonomy role in a fast-evolving environment where you will directly influence how AI is applied to real business challenges.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead structured discovery sessions with clients to understand workflows, operational challenges, and technology environments.
  • Design end-to-end AI-enabled solutions spanning people, process, and technology components.
  • Develop and prototype AI/ML solutions using LLM APIs, automation tools, and low-code platforms.
  • Build and validate proof-of-concept models to demonstrate technical feasibility and business value.
  • Translate validated use cases into scalable production-ready specifications and architecture designs.
  • Serve as a key intake and advisory point for AI solution opportunities across clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure clear requirements and smooth transition from design to build.
  • Define success criteria, performance benchmarks, and technical constraints for AI solutions.
  • Evaluate feasibility and strategic alignment of new opportunities in partnership with leadership and sales teams.
  • Monitor solution outcomes post-implementation and contribute to continuous improvement of AI delivery frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, product strategy, or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs, APIs, and automation frameworks.
  • Proven ability to design, prototype, and validate end-to-end technical solutions in client-facing environments.
  • Experience translating complex business problems into scalable technical architectures.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of complex operational environments; experience in insurance workflows is a plus.
  • High autonomy, strong problem-solving ability, and comfort operating in ambiguous, innovation-driven settings.
  • Ability to bridge technical depth with business strategy and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from 120,948 USD to 205,026 USD depending on experience and location.
  • Annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive total compensation package.
  • 100% employer-paid health insurance starting on day one.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage available from day one.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match, fully vested from day one.
  • HSA and FSA account options.
  • Long-term and short-term disability coverage provided.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and floating holidays.
  • Remote-first work environment with internet stipend eligibility.
  • Wellness programs and strong focus on employee health and development.
  • Career growth and learning opportunities in a specialized, high-impact industry.
