About our Client:
Just in Time delivers trauma-informed, attachment-based mental health care for youth transitioning out of foster care by repairing relational ruptures and restoring connection. Through consistent and trustworthy relationships, community integration, and evidence-based therapeutic practices, we support participants in rebuilding agency, safety, emotional regulation, and the capacity for healthy, sustaining relationships.
Job Overview:
Be the steady support when it matters most.Just in Time for Foster Youth is seeking a Basic Needs Resource Navigator to support young adults with foster care experience as they navigate urgent life needs and move toward stability and independence.
This role is ideal for someone who brings high emotional intelligence, strong situational awareness, and experience supporting individuals in high-stress or crisis-adjacent situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to participants facing urgent needs (housing, food, financial stability)
- Help participants create clear, actionable plans toward stability
- Coordinate referrals to community resources and internal programs
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners
- Support and facilitate workshops and engagement activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure holistic participant support
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with underserved populations
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with crisis hotlines, case management, or social services
- Lived experience in foster care or deep familiarity with the system
- Experience working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ youth
- Bilingual skills
Employment Details:
- Hourly: $23 – $28 per hour (based on experience)
