Role Overview:

The Contract & Governance Manager is accountable for contractual, commercial, and governance control across the delivery portfolio. This role ensures that Infinity Group delivers what it is contractually committed to deliver, operating within clearly defined scope, commercial boundaries, and governance frameworks. The role partners closely with Sales, PMO, Delivery, Finance, and Legal to protect margin, manage risk, and ensure auditable, well-governed delivery.

What skills and working characteristics should this person have?
  • Proven experience in contract or commercial management within technology or professional services delivery.
  • Strong understanding of delivery methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid models and their contractual implications.
  • Experience managing Statements of Work, variations, change control, and commercial risk.
  • High degree of commercial judgement with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in a Microsoft Solutions Partner environment is desirable.
  • Exposure to Dynamics 365 or enterprise application delivery environments is advantageous.
As a Contracts & Governance Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Contract Ownership & Interpretation:

  • Own the interpretation and application of contracts, Statements of Work, and amendments throughout delivery.
  • Act as the authoritative source of truth on contractual obligations, exclusions, and assumptions.
  • Ensure Project Managers understand contractual constraints before delivery decisions are taken.

Commercial & Contractual Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and manage contractual and commercial risk including scope ambiguity and exposure.
  • Escalate contractual risks with clear articulation of commercial impact and mitigation options.
  • Understand SoW mechanics and how they will effect the business.

Financial & Commercial Assurance:

  • Validate contract values, pricing models, assumptions, and phasing.
  • Support accurate forecasting by confirming contractual entitlement and constraints.
  • Partner with Finance and Delivery to protect margin and avoid revenue leakage.

Sales to Delivery & Delivery to Support Transitions:

  • Assure that contractual documentation handed from Sales to Delivery is complete, clear, and deliverable.
  • Ensure sales to delivery handovers happen with the desired level of detail and in a timely fashion.
  • Validate that scope, assumptions, and commercials are understood before mobilisation.
  • Support clean contractual handover into Managed Services where applicable.

Governance, Methodology & Assurance:

  • Ensure Infinity Group’s delivery methodology is applied consistently across projects.
  • Conduct regular and ad-hoc project audits covering governance, methodology, and commercial controls.
  • Produce clear audit findings and track corrective actions to completion.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement:

  • Act as the contractual interface between Sales, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and clients where required.
  • Support scope, change, and contractual clarification discussions.
  • Support fact-based positions in the event of dispute or challenge.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

  • Provide visibility of contractual status, risks, and exposure to leadership.
  • Identify recurring contractual weaknesses and feed learning back into presales and governance.
  • Continuously improve contract templates, clause guidance, and commercial playbooks.

Success Measures:

  • Projects delivered within contractual and commercial boundaries.
  • Reduced contractual risk and revenue leakage.
  • High confidence in forecasting and commercial reporting.
  • Consistent governance and methodology adoption across delivery.
  • Positive stakeholder feedback across Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Leadership.
Like the rest of the Infinity team, you'll benefit from:
  • The opportunity to work for one of the leading Microsoft Cloud Solution Partners in the UK.
  • Work in a great culture, highly ambitious, collaborative, humble and we pride ourselves in making others look cool be it our colleagues or clients.
  • Benefits include Unlimited Annual Leave, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, Company Shares, Electric Car Scheme and Flexible Working.
  • A newly renovated office with a break-out area, decent coffee, and a pool table.
  • Weekly company events (Think Bigger Friday with Drinks) and quarterly social events with your teams and company-wide affairs including our very own ‘Illuminate’ Annual Awards Gala, Christmas Party, and summer fun. These are not obligatory but there are very few of us who don’t want to be part of the fun and we include your partners too.
What are the next steps?
  • Apply with your current resume or link to your LinkedIn profile directly on our careers page – https://www.infinitygroup.co.uk/careers/
  • Have a quick call with Dom or Keiran (our internal recruiters), to go over the position in more detail and answer any questions you have.
  • 1st stage interview, usually via Teams.
  • 2nd / final stage ideally in person as we like to meet everyone in person and show you around our amazing office.
