REQUIREMENT
Participate in the Air Force Research Laboratory Minority Leaders Research Collaboration Program summer internship program. Students will be given opportunity to work in AFRL research facilities guided by scientists and engineers located within the AFRL Directorates at Wright-Patterson AFB, Rome New York, Kirtland AB, and Fort Sam TX. Research will be in areas of interest to AFRL's mission which is leading the discovery, development, and integration of warfighting technologies for our air, space, and cyberspace forces. Employment opportunities are expected to last 10-12 weeks.
Pay grade is dependent on year of school completed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with AFRL mentors on research projects identified through the AFRL ML-RCP.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Enrolled in STEM related degree areas.
EDUCATIONAL, CLEARANCE AND CERTIFICATION
- US Citizenship required.
- Enrolled in academic institutions in STEM related areas -- undergraduate to graduate level.
