The Spirit of the Position:

The Valet Guest Service is the first point of contact for guests using our valet service, responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience. This role goes beyond traditional valet functions by combining hospitality, guest engagement, and retail partnership support. The Valet Guest Serviceenhances the overall guest journey while driving value for retailers and strengthening the malls reputation for service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to guests upon arrival.
  • Assist with valet services including greeting, directing, and coordinating with attendants.
  • Serve as a guest concierge by offering directions, mall information, and retailer promotions.
  • Distribute retailer flyers, discount offers, and event information to guests.
  • Proactively engage with guests to ensure needs are met and service expectations are exceeded.
  • Act as a visible brand ambassador, modeling professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Support center initiatives, promotions, special events, and retailer campaigns.
  • Track guest engagement and report feedback that may improve sales and service.
  • Collaborate with mall management, valet operations, and retailers to maximize guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and safe valet area.

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive, approachable, and enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable distributing promotional materials and explaining offers to guests.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in both conduct and appearance.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

    Physical Demands:

    • Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
    • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
