RN - Surgical/Perioperative Services, Sign-on Bonus at Chadron Community Hospital, Corp. – Chadron, Nebraska

Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the OR and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Assess patients at intervals as stated in policies and procedures.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Implement the plan of care
• Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attaining outcomes.
• Transfer care as applicable.
• Delegate tasks according to the state Nurse Practice Act and job descriptions.
• Document nursing care accurately, completely, and legibly

Education:

• Associate degree (or higher) in nursing
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse licensure in state of employment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, depending on patient population.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Experience:

• Two years nursing experience preferred.
• On the job training for the right candidate.
