Key Responsibilities
  • Assist HVAC Technician to repair refrigeration, HVAC and EMS equipment for commercial and residential clients
  • Must be good with problem solving without direct supervision.
  • Learn and be efficient in trouble shooting and repairing electrical problems in relation to HVAC equipment.
  • Must be able to read and understand schematics.
  • Learn and have a working knowledge of EMS components and operations.
  • Must have own hand tools, gauges and meters. Other major tools are provided by the company.
  • Assist installing air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g. unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc.) for the purpose of providing comfort inside facilities.
  • Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment.
  • Must be responsible and professional operating a marked company vehicle.
  • Must be a team player and able to be directed by others as may be required for the purpose of ensuring that assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner.
  • In addition to service, must be willing to assist with Installs of air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g. unit heaters, pumps, safety controls, etc.) for the purpose of providing comfort inside facilities.
  • Maintains tools, supplies and/or equipment (e.g. torches, cutters, drills, test equipment, sheet metal, filters, control components, fan blades, gaskets, seals, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items and equipment is in safe operating condition.
  • Must be capable of and/or willing to learn to make orders of equipment and supplies (e.g. replacement parts, filters, sheet metal, associated hardware, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items.

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 years of experience as an HVAC Technician Assistant in commercial or residential HVAC.

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
  • Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
  • Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
  • Successful Background Check
  • Being eligible to drive company vehicles.
  • Being able to work on weekends when required.
  • Being able to travel around the Florida estate for a week when required.

  • Full time onsite
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
