About This Position
Overview:
Responsible for overseeing the processing of all incoming and outgoing mail from multiple clients; all mail inserters, scanners, and postage meters. The Manager’s duties involve both "hands-on" work, project management, reporting, and various associated administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primarily ensure that processes and SLA timing requirements are met in accordance with client contractual obligations, while maintaining CMS compliance and QA standards.
- Obtain thorough knowledge of, and comply with, Convey Health Solutions safety policies and ensure the compliance of these policies with employees.
- Ensure necessary supplies and materials are on hand or readily available to allow smooth operation and proper maintenance to be undertaken.
- Maintenance to and schedule for all necessary equipment.
- Undertake and/or coordinate improvements and upgrading of systems or equipment.
- Provide suggestions and input into the preparation of mailroom policy, procedures and plans. Supervise, train and evaluate permanent and casual staff.
- Ensure that all Occupational Health and safety regulations affecting work are enforced.
- Keep current records as they pertain to the staff scheduling, finance, special projects, maintenance of equipment, and other related operations.
- Other duties as required.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations affecting Company.
- Responsible for participating in quality assurance, compliance and in-service and continuing education activities as requested by Company.
- Responsible for performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, though not required, Business or other relevant industry or equivalent experience.
- Four years’ experience supervising employees in similar environment.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
- Comfortable working in fast pace environment with the ability to work with tight deadlines
- Excellent proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Office Suite experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
