Position Overview:

The Accountant will manage financial operations, oversee subcontractor billing, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of construction accounting practices and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage subcontractor billing, including reviewing invoices and payment applications.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, lien waivers, and construction industry regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and reports for management.
• Work closely with project managers to track job costs and profitability.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in subcontractor billing and contract compliance.
• Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, QuickBooks, or Procore).
