About the Role:

The Tow Truck Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of purchased vehicles to the yard. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, as drivers will interact with clients and represent the company on the road. The primary goal is to adhere to scheduled pick up and delivery times while maintaining compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Additionally, Tow Truck Drivers are responsible for the proper handling and care of the transported vehicle as well as the rollback/tow truck, ensuring it is well-maintained and ready for daily operations. Ultimately, the success of this role contributes significantly to the overall efficiency and reputation of the logistics and transportation services provided by the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a rollback / tow driver or in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with GPS and route planning software.
  • Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a rollback/tow vehicle to transport vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws.
  • Load and unload vehicles, ensuring that vehicles are secured and handled with care.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
  • Communicate effectively regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Conduct routine inspections and report any maintenance issues with rollback/tow truck to ensure safety and compliance.
