Summary
We are looking for postgraduate and final-year undergraduate law students to support the Corporate Finance practice in Beijing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support to lawyers on a wide range of corporate transactions matters
- Conduct legal research and review corporate documents
- Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents, proof reading, printing and binding
- Assist lawyers in conducting due diligence, including occasional business trips as assigned by lawyers, drafting due diligence questionnaires, conducting interviews and notes taking
- Assist lawyers in carrying out prospectus verification
- Draft prospectus under the supervision of lawyers
- Maintain and update client files and documents
- Coordinate internal or client events
- Coordinate with marketing team for marketing materials updates
- Additional ad hoc tasks as required
- Interns who perform outstanding will be considered for permanent positions and competitive offer.
Qualifications
- Final year undergraduate or postgraduate law students
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English, able to type and translate
- Good team player
- Familiar with Windows, Outlook and MS office applications
- Can work from (full time)
- Able to handle multi-task effectively
- Experience in legal document translation is a plus
