Communications Operator in Somers Point, New Jersey at Shore Medical Center

Position Summary
The Communications Operator operates a multiple position console to route all incoming and outgoing calls; assists patients and employees with paging and placing calls; and pages physicians for clinical staff. Provides support for the entire facility and provides a positive voice to the patient, family and employee experience.

Minimum Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous PBX experience
• 1 year of experience in an Operator Role
• Intermediate computer proficiency, attention to details with excellent customer service and communication skills
• Word Processing experience
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull.

Preferred Skills and Experience
• AS400 experience
