SENIOR ACCOUNTANT in Danville, Kentucky at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for assisting the accounting manager with the monthly close of company books in order to timely generate financial statements that are properly stated. Exhibits the values of F.I.R.S.T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

WORKING CONDITIONS, HAZARDS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

Sitting with prolonged concentration, stooping and standing at files, occasionally necessary to lift and move files.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OR EQUIVALENTS:

Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in accounting.

Experience:

Two to three (2-3) years experience in a financial setting with health care experience preferred.
