About This Position

Provides front line support to staff in regard to operational and system inquiries. Responsible for ensuring competence of new staff during their probationary period. Also responsible for training of system and new procedures as they are introduced. Acts as Front Desk manager, coordinating with patients and registrars, to ensure timely registration. Assist with supervision of all staff members in Patient Access as needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must possess a minimum of five (5) years registration experience in an acute care setting. Demonstrated leadership skills required. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent working knowledge of computer-based applications and strong keyboard skills. Must have consistently met or exceeded departmental quality standards. Strong knowledge of federal, state and local billing regulations necessary. Superb customer skills required. Ability to train and teach a diversified group of employees, one on one as well as in a group environment.

Salary: $25.50 per hour
