Purpose:

The apprentice is someone who thrives on challenge and continually looks for opportunity to learn and exceed personal goals. The apprentice understands that guest service always takes priority but efficient restaurant operation makes it possible. They are as comfortable taking responsibility as they are delegating it. The apprentice is friendly, enthusiastic, and has a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively LEAD the restaurant while the GM or AM is not present
• Assist in training of new employees
• Assist in food an labor cost
• Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks and following up with team members.
• Must be proficient in all areas
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
• Ensure all food items are prepped according to standards with proper label
• Follow proper sanitary practices
• Manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation
• Previous experience preferred but not required
• Able to use touch sensitive POS
• Must be able to take directions and delegate responsibilities
• Must possess sense of urgency
• Must have open availability
