Clinical Supervisor- Emergency Department at Richmond University Medical Center – Staten Island, New York

The Clinical Supervisor will provide nursing clinical/administrative oversight for the Emergency Department. He/she will be responsible for the direct provision of patient care and for the daily operations to include but not limited to coordination of patient care/outcomes, allocation of human and fiscal resources, communications, patient throughput, program development and oversight, patient, physician and employee rounding, selection, development and retention of staff, clinical supervision and performance appraisal, performance improvement activities, service recovery and compliance with regulatory agency requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Five (5) years of nursing experience in a hospital setting required, with three years Emergency Nursing care experience. Three (5) years of progressive management or supervisory experience in a hospital setting. Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area

CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE:

Current License in the NYS as a Registered Nurse required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing required

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Masters degree required . BLS & ACLS certification required.

Some weekends are required.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $135,000
