Physical Therapy Asst. in Morehead, Kentucky at St. Claire Regional Medical Center

The Physical Therapy Asst. demonstrates a sound knowledge of the principles and applications of physical therapy procedures and modalities. Provides patient care/services based on identified needs/developmental levels for all patient populations. Works under the supervision of the physical therapist.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provides education and treatment/modalities following the physical therapist's patient evaluation and treats the patient according to professional standards of care and practice based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Experience:
One year of clinical experience is preferred

Licensure/Certification:
Valid Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy license, valid Kentucky Driver’s License (if Home Health)
