A Brief Overview
This position is responsible for providing recruitment consultation, services and in-placement support for senior and/or executive level positions at Regional One Health. Reporting to the Director, Talent Management, this position coordinates the organization-wide functions related to internal/external talent sourcing, senior level reassignments, hard-to-fill clinical, medical and pharmaceutical candidate identifications along with other programs and projects. This position will be assigned as the point of contact for external healthcare recruiting sources, placement services for physicians and clinicians and will provide the necessary guidance for external sourcing and competitive intelligence methods to attract top tier candidates for hard-to-fill competitive roles.
What you will do
- Partner with HR Strategic Partners at the Executive/Senior level to serve as a primary point of contact for potential employees and hiring staff for the recruitment and selection process associated with senior level positions that require specific and/or focused skill sets. • Develops a specific recruiting plan/strategy • Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process to include discussing the specific requirements and job description for each position with the appropriate hiring executive, identifying qualified candidates, assessing applicant qualifications and negotiating and closing job offers • Designs an ongoing creative and cost effective sourcing strategy related to recruitment including appropriate presentations and communication for all employee levels. • Develops an effective source of key talent potentially available for immediate hire as succession planning needs dictate. • Performs candidate pre-Interviews to determine which applicants are eligible to move forward to hiring staff for formal interview process. Pre-interviews may include behavioral-based interviewing methodologies as applicable • Conducts required pre-employment reference and background screens, reviews and/or investigations • Participates in employee transfer requests, relocations, promotions, etc • Develops relationships with recruitment and/or staffing agencies, recruiting resources and hiring managers in order to facilitate an appropriate candidate(s) for the hiring department • Persuasively sells organization, role and benefits package to candidates • Utilizes expertise, knowledge and skill to appropriate match candidates to hiring departments • Participates in the analysis, development and administration of new or revised recruiting practices, policies, and strategies • Participates in utilizing Human Resource Information Systems to generate routine and special reports, provide information and data related to employment staffing and/or recruiting • Participates in local/regional recruitment activities designed to attract the most qualified candidates to champion Regional One Health’s mission and standards. Source candidates using networking events, competitive intelligence/research etc.
- Serves in an Account Management capacity. Consult with Hiring Executives and HR Leadership on strategic talent acquisition initiatives in the context of the business. Advise and mentor on complex issues that have been escalated by other recruiters.

- Protects the confidentiality of employee/HR data. Releases employee information only to authorized persons, in accordance with departmental/compliance policies and procedures.
- Projects excellent customer relations in all interactions. Confers with and works collaboratively with hospital staff and external agencies or sources in compliance with iRESPECT standards and promoting patient/customer satisfaction to coordinate and implement HR activities; to obtain information; to answer inquiries and resolve issues/problems.
- Provides data for research and administrative support for HR operations, special projects and studies.
- Prepares and maintains required reports, records, logs and files for operational, administrative and compliance purposes. Utilizes computer and information systems to enter, format and retrieve data, generate statistics, computations, tables, charts and graphs.
- Represents Human Resources as a member of assigned committees. Coordinates special projects; serves on cross-functional teams as a member or leader as assigned. Strongly supports hospital-sponsored employee events.
- Maintains professional credentials and education necessary to keep abreast and maintain a current knowledge of HR principles, concepts and techniques, best practices and current trends. Attends continuing education, staff development, and mandatory programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent education/experience in Human Resources Healthcare Recruiting Required
- Participation in an HR professional organization (e.g. PHR/SPHR, AIRS Certified Recruiter, NW Recruiter Association, NAHCR Certified Recruiter) Upon Hire Preferred
- Minimum 4 years experience performing healthcare staffing and/or recruitment of clinical candidates Required and
- Selected candidate must provide proven record of successful recruiting strategies Required
