Licensed Practical Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

The Licensed Practical Nurse we are seeking to fill this position will need to demonstrate leadership on the unit in the presence and absence of the Nursing Director. Live Oak offers care for nursing home residents as well as skilled nursing care. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, ensuring quality patient care, compliance with physician's orders and facility policy, medication administration, and assuring a safe and suitable environment for our residents. The candidate needs to be kind, compassionate and dependable. This candidate will be a member of a dedicated professional team of Physical, Speech, Occupational Therapist and nursing assistants that will work to return our residents back to their normal activities of daily living. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort. The Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing and RN Supervisor are available as a resource to you. An active Louisiana LPN license is necessary to apply for this position.
