Shift Leader at Frey Coffee LLC – Collinsville, Illinois

DESCRIPTION

The Shift Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store Operation's duties. This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's “Amazing” customer service experience.

· Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush

· Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members

· Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors.

· Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales

· Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner

· Ensure team members follow all heath, safety and sanitation guidelines

· Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures

· Demonstrate punctuality, dependability and adaptability

· Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested
