MT/MLT Supervisor at Scotland Memorial Hospital – Laurinburg, North Carolina

Works under the supervision of the Laboratory Director/Assistant Director. Responsible for orderly, efficient and economical supervision of their laboratory section, assuring timely delivery of quality test results to the medical providers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in medical technology or a chemical, physical or biological science, required; 4 years generalist experience in a hospital laboratory (if blood bank supervisor one year must be in transfusion medicine); general knowledge and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation; proficient in keyboarding and laboratory information systems; excellent communication, customer service, & organizational skills. ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
