We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Service Coordinator to support our Service, Operations, Monitoring, and Accounting teams. This role requires balancing immediate customer needs with proactive planning to ensure optimal business performance. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Service Coordinator to support our Service, Operations, Monitoring, and Accounting teams. This role requires balancing immediate customer needs with proactive planning to ensure optimal business performance. You'll be the central hub for communication between technicians, customers, and internal departments — ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and respond to service requests (repairs, start-ups, PMs, emergency calls).
- Dispatch technicians efficiently based on skillsets and route optimization.
- Manage inventory, quotes, work orders, and sales orders related to power generation equipment.
- Act as the main liaison between customers, field technicians, and internal teams.
- Generate and process service tickets, including follow-ups and documentation.
- Maintain and schedule service contracts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide customers with quotes and confirm service readiness prior to dispatch.
- Coordinate daily field technician activities, including material deliveries and subcontractor support.
- Review service orders and negotiate changes to ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Verify customer accounts, billing terms, and collaborate with accounting on job costing.
- Submit accurate documentation and close-out reports.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Office to manage tasks and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of coordination experience, preferably in service or power generation.
- Proven experience in service dispatch, operations, inventory, and work order management.
- Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with solid planning skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and cost estimating.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and service management systems.
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to support team needs as required.
