Estimator at Top Tier Reps LLC – Irving, Texas

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the structural steel industry. This role is fully onsite at our Irving, TX location and reports directly to the Chief Estimator.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the steel fabrication and erection process, construction methodologies, and labor standards associated with structural steel components. This position plays a key role in producing accurate and comprehensive estimates that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual and computer-aided takeoffs for structural steel components
• Review quotes from vendors and subcontractors for scope accuracy and contract compliance
• Produce detailed estimate summaries, including general and specialized project requirements
• Understand and apply appropriate labor standards for various steel components
• Collaborate with the team to identify and document items for project buyout
• Assist in training and mentoring Estimators in Training, supporting their skill development and technical understanding

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the structural steel industry in an estimating or similar role
• Solid understanding of steel fabrication and erection processes
• Construction industry experience is required
• Proficiency with takeoff software and standard estimating tools
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously with high attention to detail

Salary & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000, commensurate with experience
