About This Position
What You Will Deliver
Supervise and coordinate fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and dispatching to ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead, train, and manage a team of drivers and logistics staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the logistics team to plan transportation routes and manage load distribution effectively.
Manage transportation documentation, including delivery notes, driver logs, and compliance reports.
Handle incident reports, accidents, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to support business needs.
Track KPIs (e.g., on-time delivery rates, maintenance costs) and prepare regular fleet performance reports.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies within fleet operations.
Who You Are
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in fleet management, transportation, or logistics supervision.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience in the logistics industry, warehouse, trucking company or freight forwarding industry will be a plus.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick operational decisions.
Having a knowledge of TMS/WMS will be a plus.
