THE POSITION

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a RN Nursing Clinical Educator (Instructor), where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing. In this vital position, you will leverage your clinical expertise and passion for education to mentor and guide nurses, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth by actively engaging in course delivery. You are responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, grading, course creation, proctoring, test review, and evaluation of all clinical assigned courses. You will evaluate the performance, provide mentorship, and focus on teammate retention and clinical licensure. These contributions will ensure high-quality patient care and support our commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Educational requirements: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse by the North Carolina Board of Nursing with a minimum of two years clinical experience within the practice area. · Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required. (Master’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Education, or Health Care Administration preferred.) Two years of teaching experience preferred. · MSN must be achieved within 3 years of hire date if not completed. · Certification (NPD-BC or clinical area of practice) within 3 years of hire or eligibility date to test

Must show and maintain evidence of nursing competencies within practice area, including certifications required for area of practice (i.e., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, etc.). · Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum and program development, program evaluation, self-learning modules, and proficiencies with audio-visual equipment and PowerPoint. · Must obtain BLS-I, ACLS-I, PALS-I within 1 year of hire date. · Additional Requirements: o De-escalation training within 1 year o TNCC within 1 year or as class schedule allows o NRP within 1 year or as class schedule allows
