About This Position

Description:

We are seeking dynamic and highly organized individuals to join our workshop team at Shoup Legal. As an Event Staff, you will play a crucial role in facilitating in-person estate planning workshops to educate and empower individuals in Mission Valley area on the importance of estate planning. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and executing these events to help us reach and assist our local communities.

  • Part-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute in-person estate planning workshops in to educate attendees on estate planning options and benefits.
  • Manage event logistics, including setup, catering, and any necessary equipment.
  • Welcome and engage attendees, answering their questions and providing general information about Shoup Legal's services.
  • Assist in post-workshop process including scheduling appointments and collecting payments
  • Collect and maintain participant information and feedback for follow-up purposes.
  • Represent Shoup Legal with professionalism and compassion

Qualifications:

  • Must be friendly, energetic, and outgoing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Prior event experience (Preferred)
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • Must be willing to travel to other event locations (Murrieta, Corona, or North County).
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • 18 years or older
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Foundational knowledge of estate planning & probate, and/or a willingness to learn.
  • Local knowledge of the area (Preferred).
