Licensed Practical Nurse- SC at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed LPN to work in our float pool to work in all 5 campuses. Our clinic is fast-paced and provides care from birth to 23 years of age. We need a person that is dependable with strong work ethics. Good communication and computer skills are required. Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to: assessment of patients utilizing verbal and technical skills, triaging of patients, EKG's, medication management including vaccine management, medication storage, medication administration. The LPN will assist the provider with clinical procedures. They will work with insurance companies on referrals and pre-authorizations for lab, x-ray and procedures. They will also be scheduling patients for tests and procedures. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. An excellent benefit package and salary are offered.
