Position Summary

The Glenview Trust Company is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and client-focused Trust Principal to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the administration of trusts, estates, and accounts, ensuring that our clients’ goals are achieved with integrity and excellence. You will be a key ambassador for Glenview Trust, cultivating relationships both inside and outside the company, and driving our mission to deliver exceptional fiduciary services.

Reports to: Chief Fiduciary Officer
Status: Exempt


Supervises:

Indirectly supervise Client Service Specialists

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with Purpose: Direct the administration of client trusts, estates, and accounts, ensuring all fiduciary responsibilities are fulfilled in accordance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, proactively nurturing relationships through regular communication and personalized service.
  • Drive Excellence: Set and uphold high standards for client service across your team, ensuring every client receives attentive, thoughtful, and timely support.
  • Grow Our Impact: Build and expand relationships with centers of influence, charitable organizations, and community leaders to promote Glenview Trust and identify new business opportunities.
  • Champion Compliance: Participate in key committees, including the Trust Administrative Committee, to oversee and enhance administrative and compliance functions.
  • Empower Others: Indirectly supervise and mentor Client Service Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Innovate and Improve: Contribute to strategic planning, management initiatives, and special projects that shape the future of the company.
  • Stay Ahead: Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required designations, ensuring you remain at the forefront of industry best practices.

What You Bring

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) or comparable professional designation required
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in trust administration and wealth management (preferred)
  • Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving abilities; strategic mindset; commitment to ethical standards
  • Attributes: Professional, adaptable, and driven to make a positive impact
