Work Practices:
Supply all Raw Materials and batched containers to the production lines as required
Manage line priorities in accordance with CM25 and CO lead time
Manage and prioritize all batching operations
Collaborate with warehouse to maintain raw material management in accordance with usage and frequency analysis
Lead cycle counts /year-end stock takes
Maintain PSA raw material needs
Manage all mixing priorities
Prioritize and review all cleaning requirements
Work with the batching team to ensure containers are ready to avoid stopping a production line
Lead necessary audits to ensure process compliance
Collaborate with EHS to improve safety
Collaborate with production technical to help develop standard work
Organize and support all training needs of new employees
Support the CIP manager with all continuous improvement needs and participate in Kaizen
events
Help batch containers and provide coverage during break and lunch and fill in for unplanned
absenteeism or as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area following housekeeping responsibilities and 7s
standards
Execution of running PPL process
Manage and maintain VLM operation
Operate and Maintain VLM system
Perform Daily/shift inspections
Load and operate the machine safely according to procedure
Provide Notifications to Maintenance of any repairs required
Pre-Batch Support
Replenish raw materials in the pre-batch bins as requested by the Batchers.
Transact material moved from WH to PSA as well as all material that is expensed.
Production support
Dispense purge resin as needed
Collaborate with machine operator to ensure all nonconforming material is properly managed
Other duties as assigned
Participate in shift/team meetings
Forklift certified
Basic SAP knowledge required for Material Handling
Interact with co-workers, peers, and supervisor in a constructive, productive, and cooperative manner to meet production needs
Participate in Liberated Organization activities
Participate in joint health and safety meetings
Follow the requirements for AITF, ISO 14001 and 9001 systems
Working Conditions/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience at minimum 1 year in manufacturing production setting
Powder coating experience preferred
Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English. Spanish is a plus not required.
An aptitude for working with factory machinery
Experience working with extruders, mills, sieves, bonders, mixers, preferred.
Basic computer-controlled machinery experience preferred
Standing for periods of up to 9 hours
Repetitive lifting of up to 55lbs
Exposure to dust, powder coating paint, and noise
Wearing of PPE (personal protective equipment) required through entire shift
Climbing repetitively throughout the shift of stairs or ladders
Mondays through Fridays, 6 am - 2:30 pm, overtime as needed
40 hours weekly overtime as needed
