Job Objective

The Utility Person is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and dishes used in food service, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and maintaining the cleanliness of service areas before and after meal service.

What A Day Looks Like:

• Maintain floors, counters, walls, dish room, and service areas in immaculate condition.
• Utilize cleaning and sanitizing agents safely and according to directions.
• Clean and efficiently store all dishes and pans in a safe manner.
• Remove trash to the dumpster, replace trash can liners as necessary, and break down boxes for proper disposal.
• Perform advance preparation tasks as required.
• Work independently while following proper direction.
• Check and record temperatures as necessary to fulfill required duties.
• Assist with proper and sanitary food storage at the close of meal service.
• Execute all duties assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner.
  
  

Requirements:

What We Need From You:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and lift (up to 50 lbs. +/-).
• Ability to work in a professional manner and interact with co-workers, supervisors, and residents as needed.
