Food Service Associate – Corporate Food Service at Corporate Image Dining Services of NY Inc – Purchase, New York

Position Summary

The Front Service Associate is a customer-facing role responsible for food service, cashiering, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and professionalism. This position works directly with the Chef Manager to support daily operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience.

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Corporate food service, Westchester area

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service with professionalism, strong communication, and a positive attitude

Operate a POS system accurately for food purchases and transactions

Perform cashiering, food handling, and service duties

Assist with Grill and Deli stations (preferred experience)

Safely use commercial kitchen equipment, including ovens, slicers, mixers, panini presses, griddles, fryers, and thermometers

Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

Assist with inventory control and daily production needs

Work collaboratively as a team player in a customer-first environment

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in food service, cashiering, or customer service
• Working knowledge of POS systems
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and food safety practices
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
• Professional references required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in corporate food service
• Knowledge of Grill and Deli operations
• ServSafe certification (or equivalent)
