BASIC PURPOSE:

Responsible for the provision and supervision of social service functions provided to home health and hospice patients.

Education Requirements:

Must have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

Be licensed in the state of Mississippi to practice as a Social Worker. Have a current valid driver's license and auto liability insurance

Experience/Qualifications/Skill Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of social work experience in a healthcare setting.

Language/Communication/Organizational Skills:

English is required. Multilingual capabilities enhance the ability to perform this job. Must have the ability to speak effectively and professionally to all staff, management, and all outside individuals at all levels from elementary to professional.

Mathematical Skills:

Basic math/accounting skills to sufficiently complete assignments.

Reasoning Ability:

Must use personal knowledge, experience and other resources as necessary to make logical decisions and solve problems.
