Rental Tech I at Mt. Shasta Ski Park – McCloud, California

Overview: Mt. Shasta Ski Park is seeking friendly and customer-focused individuals to join our Rentals Team as Rental Tech I. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting guests in the rental shop by fitting boots, helping with equipment returns, and ensuring an efficient and positive rental experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests and provide excellent customer service in the rental shop.

Assist guests in selecting and fitting ski and snowboard boots.

Organize and distribute rental boots quickly and accurately.

Process and check in returned equipment to designated areas.

May be trained in equipment waxing.

Keep rental areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.

Answer basic guest questions and direct them to the appropriate staff when needed.

Work as part of a team to keep rental operations running smoothly during busy periods.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Comfortable standing and moving for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.

Previous customer service or retail experience preferred, but not required (training provided).

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay rate: $17 $18 per hour, depending on experience.

Benefits also include season pass and food/retail discounts.

Seasonal position with both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
