On-Site Medical Assistant (DOT Physicals & Hair Collection Drug Screens) at CNS Companies – Lincoln, Nebraska

CNS Occupational Medicine, a trusted leader in occupational health services, is seeking a Medical Assistant with experience in occupational health to support on-site DOT exams and perform hair collection drug screens for a trucking company client in Lincoln, Nebraska.

This PRN role offers consistent, scheduled opportunities two days per week in collaboration with our licensed NRCME-certified Medical Examiner and occupational health team.

Scope of Services

• Assist providers with DOT physical examinations for new hires and current drivers requiring medical card re-certification.
• Perform hair collection drug screens in compliance with federal and employer protocols.
• Accurately complete all documentation in company application software.
• Maintain a professional, client-focused presence on-site.

Schedule

• Mondays: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (6 hours; 30-minute unpaid meal break)
• Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (4 hours; 30-minute unpaid meal break)

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant (MA) certification or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with DOT physical exam process and occupational health protocols preferred.
• Prior experience in drug screen collections (hair, urine, or oral fluid).
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in the field.
