DESCRIPTION:

Non-CDL Box Truck Driver
Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Yard Dispatcher / Store Manager

We’re looking for a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to be the face of Koopman Lumber on the road, delivering materials safely and efficiently while keeping customer service at the heart of every trip.

What You’ll Do

• As part of our team, you’ll:
• Safely operate non-CDL box trucks to deliver materials on time to customer job sites
• Maintain contact with dispatch for updates, instructions, or redirection
• Load, secure, and unload cargo (using cleats, load straps, or lift gate as needed)
• Assist with manual loading/unloading when required
• Collect signatures, take delivery photos, and manage returns using mobile apps
• Complete digital and paper reports (fuel logs, inspections, forklift checklists, etc.)
• Inspect vehicle daily, checking fluids and completing pre- and post-trip reports
• Keep trucks clean, safe, and presentable inside and out
• Communicate with sales and customer teams about delivery questions or issues
• Represent Koopman Lumber with professionalism and courtesy at all times
