Job Summary
To assist in drug preparation, drug storage, drug distribution, drug inventory, and required record keeping under the supervision of a Pharmacist. To include aseptically compounding parenteral admixtures.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Completion of Pharmacy Technician Vocational Technical program preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registrations
- Certified Pharmacy Technician by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required.
- Registration with the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of employment.
Work Schedule
- Day Shifts: 10:30am-7:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Every 3rd weekend
- Every 3rd holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $18.50 – $25.75 per hour
