Job Summary
Makes appointments with physicians by telephone or in person, maintains schedules, screens calls and other miscellaneous duties related to appointments and reception. Registers patients, updates demographic information and collects co-pays.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Additional education or training as a Medical Assistant or other health related field is preferred.
- One to three months related experience in a clinic office setting or using a computer is preferred.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30 pm; 80hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
