Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Berlin, CT
Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience/fair market value
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Purpose & Scope: This role is responsible for performing maintenance and repair on all plastic injection molding machinery and equipment including robots, chillers, thermolators and hot running systems.
Essential Duties May Include:
- Repairing, troubleshooting, and inspecting all mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Performing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on machines and robots according to specifications
- Regularly checking heater bands, rings and pulling screws / barrels
- Safely utilizing the proper equipment to access jobs to both remove and install parts
- Five plus (5+) years of maintenance and preventative maintenance experience of Plastic Injection Molding Machinery and peripheral equipment (required).
- Ability to follow established procedures, read blueprints and maintain accurate records.
- Understanding of auxiliary, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, robots and machines.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Physical Demands of position:
- Ability to work in loud manufacturing environment
- Occasional need to bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
