Water Restoration Technician at DriRite – Tampa, Florida

DRIRITE is seeking Water Restoration Technicians who have a passion for helping people through chaotic situations.

As a Water Restoration Technician, you will be using your talents and skills to make a positive difference in lives of families throughout Tampa Bay. This position is responsible for removing water and mold damaged materials from affected properties. You will use a variety of specialty equipment, technology, and tools to mitigate the job and restore property to it's pre-loss condition.

This position requires a high level of professional customer service skills with attention to details.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate with your team to ensure they know where to go and what to do
• Responsible for ensuring that your team’s jobs are performed to our standards
• Handle any issues caused by water or mold damage and remove damaged materials
• Conduct a clean and precise demolition using hand and power tools
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all members of your team and our customers
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety
• Promote and sell DRIRITE services as the Lead Mitigation Technician

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• 1+ years of experience as a technician
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
• IICRC certifications in water damage or mold remediation preferred
• Background in plumbing, demolition, water mitigation and/or carpentry is a plus but not required
