Staffing Coordinator at ElevatEd – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Staffing Coordinator
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:05 PM (Fridays: 2:05 PM release)
Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 per year

We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team at The Early Learning Center at Yeshiva in Pittsburgh. A Jewish preschool serving children 6 weeks through 5 years in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh. They will provide essential administrative and operational support for our team. This role is crucial in managing daily staffing logistics, substitute coordination, and time-off tracking to ensure the smooth operation of our site. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

• Staffing & Scheduling:
  
  • Track staff time-off requests and approvals.
  • Receive and document call-outs.
  • Coordinate shift coverage.
  • Communicate staffing updates and schedule changes to employees.
  • Provide break coverage (This is DIRECT childcare)

• Operational Support:
  
  • Utilize and manage the Brightwheel System for staffing integration.
  • Manage carpool (Direct Parent and Child Interactions)
  • Respond to real-time staffing and child needs
  • Step into classroom ratios as needed, per leadership direction. (Direct Childcare)

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.
• Desire to work directly with children for a portion of your workday
• BA degree, or AA in ECE or related field preferred
