Rachel Companies is seeking a dynamic professional to serve as Director of Foundation and Events. This dual-role position provides strategic leadership for the Rachel Foundation while overseeing the planning and execution of company events across Rachel Contracting and affiliated entities. The role advances the Foundation’s mission through nonprofit leadership, board collaboration, fundraising, and community engagement, while ensuring company events are well executed, on-brand, and aligned with organizational values.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Foundation Leadership

1. Lead strategic planning and day-to-day operations of the Rachel Foundation
2. Partner with the Board of Directors, committees, donors, and community partners
3. Oversee fundraising, donor relations, sponsorships, and grants
4. Serve as the Foundation’s public-facing representative
5. Ensure nonprofit compliance, governance, and best practices
6. Measure and communicate impact through reports, website, and social media

Events Management

1. Plan and execute employee, client, community, and trade show events
2. Manage event logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines
3. Coordinate invitations, communications, and RSVP tracking
4. Collaborate with leadership and marketing to support branding and presentation
5. Provide onsite event support and post event evaluation

Position Qualification Preferences:

1. Experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and/or event planning
2. Knowledge of nonprofit governance and compliance
3. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
5. Financial accuracy and budget management experience
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
7. Professional, collaborative, and detail-oriented work style
