This role is ideal for someone who is confident, results-driven, and skilled at building trust with patients while guiding them to move forward with care.

You will serve as both the first impression of the practice and a key driver of revenue growth—owning the patient journey from initial contact through treatment acceptance and completion.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk Leadership:

  • Deliver a polished, high-touch patient experience from first interaction to check-out
  • Manage scheduling strategically to maximize provider productivity and production
  • Handle all incoming calls with a focus on converting inquiries into booked appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records, insurance verification, and financial documentation
  • Ensure seamless patient flow and an organized, professional front office

Treatment Coordination & Case Acceptance:

  • Confidently present comprehensive and high-value treatment plans
  • Clearly communicate clinical value, urgency, and long-term benefits of care
  • Overcome patient objections with empathy and effective communication
  • Review insurance benefits and articulate out-of-pocket costs with clarity
  • Offer and explain financing solutions to remove barriers to care
  • Drive high case acceptance percentages and meet or exceed production goals
  • Proactively follow up on unscheduled treatment and reactivation opportunities
  • Coordinate complex, multi-phase treatment plans with precision
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of proven success in dental treatment coordination or similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high case acceptance rates
  • Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance
  • Experience with practice management systems (Open Dental)
  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
  • Financial confidence—comfortable discussing larger cases and payment options
  • Highly organized, goal-oriented, and performance-driven
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Case acceptance percentage
  • Unscheduled treatment conversion rate
  • Daily and monthly production goals achieved
  • Schedule utilization and efficiency
  • Patient retention and reactivation
Ideal Candidate Profile

You are someone who:

  • Is confident discussing and closing high-value treatment
  • Understands how to balance patient care with business performance
  • Takes ownership of results and thrives on hitting goals
  • Builds trust quickly and communicates with clarity and conviction
  • Is proactive, persistent, and highly accountable
