CT Technologist at Akicita Federal, LLC – Syracuse, New York

Perform CT scans and diagnostic radiological procedures as requested.

Ensure patient safety and compliance with reporting standards during all imaging procedures.

Complete accurate documentation in patient records and sign-in/out for all shifts using provided VA systems.

Engage in ongoing professional practice evaluations and quality assurance monitoring.

Experience: Requires specific knowledge of cross-sectional human anatomy and its application in spiral, and/or, multi-slice computer tomography, inclusive of 3-D reconstruction scans, including drainages, biopsies, and peripheral vascular examinations.

Procedures such as IVP, GI series, Modified Barium Swallow, barium and air contrasted barium enema

Experience with interoperative portable and portable c-arm cases.

Experience with portable c-arm cases in Pain Management.

Experience with 128 slice scanners

Experience in Cardiac CT exams with retro and prospective gating, Interventional/CT Procedures with CT Fluoro such as Lung biopsy, RFAs, Cryo-Ablations and Microwave ablations.

Certification: Must hold advanced certification in Computed Tomography and Diagnostic X-ray from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Licensure: Full and unrestricted license to practice Radiologic Technology in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
