Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of residential property maintenance experience
- Functional knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC systems
- Valid driver's licence and clean driving background
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in property maintenance or a related trade.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner and ensure quality service.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Perform make-readies for newly rented units accurately and efficiently.
- On-call rotation with the team for after-hours emergencies.
Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong problem-solving abilities, which are essential for diagnosing and addressing maintenance issues effectively. Attention to detail is crucial, as the technician must ensure that all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
