Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SharePoint Front-End Web Administrator to support a dynamic, geographically dispersed enterprise environment. This role is critical in delivering an exceptional user experience through site collection administration, front-end configuration, and Tier 1-2 troubleshooting across multiple SharePoint platforms. Ideal candidates will bring a passion for learning, adaptability, and a commitment to optimizing modern SharePoint environments

The Successful Candidate Will Have
  • Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint SE environments at the site collection and subsite level
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate platform-level issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint workflows and automation tools, including Power Automate and SharePoint Designer
  • Proficiency in SharePoint webpage design, including modern pages, web parts, and branding customization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause identification and resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • Understanding of enterprise security concepts and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to organizational policies


Required Skills
  • Provide first and second-level support for SharePoint site collections for site-level and user-facing issues
  • Diagnose and fix site collection issues including but not limited to: Web parts, permissions, workflows, apps, navigation, and page layouts
  • Troubleshoot permissions inheritance and access control issues across site collections
  • Analyze and resolve site collection errors using correlation IDs and ULS logs for root cause identification
  • Configure and manage site templates, content types, metadata structures, and branding elements to align with organizational standards
  • Implement and enhance modern page features including design, layout, and functionality for improved user experience
  • Create or troubleshoot 2010 and 2013 workflows using SharePoint Designer
  • Develop and maintain user guides, governance documentation, and standard operating procedures to promote best practices and compliance
  • Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and customers to diagnose and resolve front-end issues, improving overall user experience


Desired Skills
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint on-premises server architecture, including farm topology, service applications, and front-end components
  • Strong understanding of HTML and proficiency in JavaScript for developing, customizing, and troubleshooting client-side scripts within SharePoint environments
  • Proficiency with InfoPath Forms and InfoPath Designer for creating, customizing, and maintaining electronic forms integrated with SharePoint workflows


Duties & Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain site collections and front-end components across SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) environments
  • Configure and optimize site settings, permissions, navigation, and content structures to enhance usability and compliance
  • Provide Tier 1-2 support by troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow tickets related to site collections, user experience, and front-end functionality
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including governance standards, knowledge base articles, and system configuration records
  • Ensure adherence to organizational security policies and compliance standards across all SharePoint sites and components
  • Collaborate on special projects and modernization initiatives, contributing to platform upgrades and feature enhancements

  • SharePoint Online - Familiarity with cloud-based SharePoint administration and modern site features
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Power Automate - Designing and managing automated workflows to streamline business processes
  • Power Apps - Building and customizing low-code applications for enhanced user interaction
  • Visual Studio - Supporting front-end development, debugging, and customization of SharePoint components


Qualifications
  • Skillset: 3+ years of SharePoint administration or enterprise web platform support experience
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Location: Onsite
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
