Position Summary:
The Storeroom Supervisor provides day-to-day supervision to Storeroom employees.
Essential Functions:
- Leads and manages all Storeroom personnel through candidate selection, interviewing, onboarding, and employee training
- Assumes ownership for the accuracy and reconciliation of inventory transactions within the ERP system
- Monitors team member performance through coaching, counseling, and, when necessary, disciplining employees
- Schedules and assigns employees to tasks weekly
- Determines methods of storage and identification for components, finished goods and work in process
- Oversees kitting and receiving operations by coordinating personnel and enforcing company policies
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing design layouts, periodically inspects current equipment, and creates requisitions for repair or replacement
- Routinely reviews Storeroom processes for opportunity to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Generates charts and presentations for monthly, quarterly and yearly metrics
- Collaborates with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering leadership to ensure a high level of internal customer satisfaction
Additional Duties:
- Controls inventory accuracy by coordinating and performing inventory counts as needed
- As assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of communicating information to ensure understanding
- Skilled user of computer systems and ERP software
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail; ability to type accurately and proficiently
- Able to investigate and resolve operational, procedural, or system-related issues effectively
- Quick-learner with the ability to transfer the acquired knowledge to others
- Ability to pull, analyze, and present data
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain, or four years of relevant equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Work is generally performed in an office environment
- May be required to sit for extended periods of time
- The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
